Your Guide to Sydney

Circa Espresso Cafe  This weeks café topic revolves around ‘ Circa Espresso’ . This café is located near Parramatta Westfield and train station , thus its easy to get to via public transport. Although its an extremely tiny and narrow café with hardly any space to move around, I guess whats what makes this place really cosy and comfortable. They have a unique menu , my personal favourite is their ‘winter bowl’ which is a combination of poached egg, haloumi, couscous , figs and middle eastern spices plus a Greek style dip to balance it off. I love to pair this with chamomile tea as it’s a perfect and soothing combination . My favourite part about this café is the interior décor as there is a gigantic pug background and after all that’s the breed I adore the most. However, the issue is its rather pricey , so a good option is to go in a  big group to split the prices. Avenue Road Cafe  Avenue Road Café is located right in the heart of Mosman, Sydney. I came across this café on my way to Chinamans Beach Mosman which is only 5 minutes drive away, so it’s a perfect destination to further explore with family/friends. What I love about this café is that it’s a fusion mix of two cultures – both Western and Indian. I ordered Indian Pakora rolls and a Mango Lassi which are typical snacks served in Indian restaurants, however they were served with a beautiful Greek style yogurt dip and the Lassi had some refreshing mint jelly mixed to give it an extra kick in flavor. The price range is fairly affordable as I paid overall $30 for both the items I ordered. I would definitely recommend this café because the customer service is really friendly but most of all if you;re a dog love like me, this is your go-to place as there are dogs constantly passing by this specific café. The Picnic Cafe Burwood Good afternoon fellow food followers! Todays post will be about a unique cafe called ' The Picnic'. The name itself pretty much gives away the idea of how the cafe itself it meant to be designed as i,e like a picnic in a park. Its a small open cafe in the middle of Burwood Park which is opposite Burwood Westfield and is close by to public transport as well. I love the cute idea behind the name of this place but the food as well is something I highly recommend! I remember ordering a vegetarian salad which had a middle eastern dressing along with spices and pomegranate seeds all over. The combination of flavors was so different, unusual but absolutely yummy! I paired this with a nutella milkshake which was really creamy and had extra chocolate bite size goodness added in as well which was beneficial. Flower Child Cafe A cafe that I have only recently visited with my partner and have fallen in love with not only their food but the whole vibe of the place as well. Flowerchild cafe is located within Chatswood Westfield Shopping Centre and is designed like a beautiful plant/flower botanical house. When you enter , youll see flower pots everywhere filled with beautiful flowers hanging down from the ceiling with vines and petals everywhere. Dont get me wrong this isnt a jungle of course! Although the one issue I have is that that tables are very congested and tiny and theres not much room to move around, so you tend to bump into things a lot. Also, the wait time can be annoying for customer as you need to prebook beforehand to get a seat and if you dont then the minimum wait would be 20 minutes up to 40 minutes which is not ideal. Cafes Els : For this weeks post , I will be talking about my all time favourite cafe! This is my go to place that I always take my boyfriend, family and friend to and can trust that every single time the food will be amazing! Cafe Els is located at Winston Hills Shopping Centre and the best part is they allow you to bring in pets i.e dogs inside which makes it such a friendly environment! The wait time is excellent as food gets served within 5 minutes. I love photography a lot and especially putting up beautiful pictures of food on my social media platforms . Cafe Els food presentation is absolutely stunning and unique, perfect for all those instagram photographers of course! I strongly recommend everyone to go have breakfast at this place which is between 9am to 12pm as their eggs with sourdough bread and halloumi cheese is mouth watering! Today’s post will allow you to explore and learn a bit about one of my all-time favourite cafes in Sydney called The Grounds of Alexandria. Most people living in Sydney would have at least heard about this place or visited once in their life because of how popular it is! ‘The Grounds’ is designed to feel like a natural home garden with plants and flowers as well as stables for horses/pigs/sheep. The café serves a wide range of food including breakfast (eggs benedict, pancakes, bruschetta) to lunch (pasta/burgers) . To top it all off they have the most unique and creative drinks available to fill up your belly and make you want to crave some more food. The best one being their iconic ‘red velvet’ milkshake which incorporates the basic taste of red velvet cupcakes along with other creamy goodness to deliver mouth-watering delights to the customer.
