How'd you find the Sydney Royal Easter Show? Hope you had a lot of fun because today I'm bringing you more "chilled back" event for you. From Friday 26 May to Saturday 17 June 2017, the multi-award-winning winter festival of light, music and ideas returns to illuminate Sydney with exciting new precincts to explore.

 Vivid Sydney is a unique annual event of light, music and ideas, featuring an outdoor 'gallery' of extraordinary lighting sculptures, a cutting-edge contemporary music program, some of the world's most important creative industry forums and, of course, the spectacular illumination of the Sydney Opera House sails.

 Starting in the evening and ending around 11 p.m, Sydney and its harbour, Darling harbour and Taronga Park Zoo will come to life with a spectacular light display. One thing to look out for is the intensive crowds even on week nights. So plan your day ahead with the help of vivid website & app! 

 In 2017, Vivid is said to be bigger and better than ever, so buckle up your another belt and get yourself ready for the event!

Circa Espresso Cafe

Circa Espresso Cafe  This weeks café topic revolves around ‘ Circa Espresso’ . This café is located near Parramatta Westfield and train station , thus its easy to get to via public transport. Although its an extremely tiny and narrow café with hardly any space to move around, I guess whats what makes this place really cosy and comfortable. They have a unique menu , my personal favourite is their ‘winter bowl’ which is a combination of poached egg, haloumi, couscous , figs and middle eastern spices plus a Greek style dip to balance it off. I love to pair this with chamomile tea as it’s a perfect and soothing combination . My favourite part about this café is the interior décor as there is a gigantic pug background and after all that’s the breed I adore the most. However, the issue is its rather pricey , so a good option is to go in a  big group to split the prices. The Art Gallery of New South Wales

The Art Gallery of New South Wales is the premium art location within Sydney, boasting a collection that spans centuries of art sourced from a multitude of artists and countries, across numerous forms. Its collection also contains an immense display of Australian artwork. Despite the gallery’s worth being estimated at approximately AU$1 billion, entry to the gallery is free, with most of the collection being substantiated by government funding and private donations, many of which range into the tens of millions of dollars, however, some major temporary exhibits do require paid tickets. The museum regularly runs tours of the gallery, as well as its specific collections. These are free of charge and often run by volunteers who maintain a passion in their respective subjects. The art gallery is open from 10am-5pm Thursday through Tuesday, whilst the gallery is open from 10am-10pm on Wednesday for Art After Hours.
