Sydney Royal Easter Show

Buckle up your belts y'all. It's #festivalfriday and today I'm gonna be guiding you through Australia's largest annual ticketed event *drum roll pls* SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW

Every Easter, the country and city join together at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, for 14 days (6-19 April 2017) of agricultural competitions, animal experiences, live entertainment, carnival fun, shopping and much more. If you've been in Sydney for a while you most probably have visited the Show at least once, OR saw a bunch of kids holding showbags in the train station. Sure, entry isn't that cheap (plus the coupons for carnival rides) but there are discount deals and twilight tickets to save you a few bucks.
Now that you are in the Show, there are plenty of things to do:
  • If you are an animal person, there are things like Animal Pavilion or dog shows (you can feed the sheep and experience the Aussie rural life),
  • If you are into carnival rides, there are heaps which closes around 11pm or so,
  • If you are into food (who isn’t tho), they are everywhere but one jumbo lemonade costs $7 so make sure to bring a bottle of water (you don’t have to, but bruh $7??).
  • There are also exhibitions and competitions for you to see, but lol just go to a museum or something (if you are into that, wait for #museummonday)
Despite all the money you’re gonna be pouring in, the ShowLink ticket includes public transport fares. So that’s a bargain ;) But for real, I strongly suggest everyone to visit Easter Show; it’s probably the most exciting that happens in Sydney lmao.
It ends next Wednesday! Don’t miss out!
