Hermitage Foreshore Track

Glistening aqua water, ancient intertwined trees, distant glimpses of the city of Sydney and nearby sights of sails and yachts… These are secrets common to one of Sydney’s best coastal walks; the Hermitage Foreshore Track. Carving along the coast, the track begins in Rose Bay and follows the harbour until it arrives at Shark Bay. It is an easy walk, taking about 30 mins - 1 hour with slight hills, a few stairs and a formed path. Catch a ferry to Rose Bay or park nearby and begin your walk at the end of Bayveiw Hill Road or Neilson Park. Enjoy the private bays, beaches, city sights and greenary along the way. Once you arrive have a swim in the shark net, explore the surrounding park and enjoy the menu at Neilson Park Cafe.
